Computer Links

Improve your keyboarding skills by clicking on the links below:

The following link reviews the homerow keys and keyboarding skills to improve placement and speed.

Type to Learn 4 - This link will enable you to download this program at home.  Follow the online prompts.  This is available to grades K-8.  Grades 3-8 login in is their 1st initial + last name no spaces no uppercase letters (asmith) and their password is eagle+grade number.  Grade 2 is 1st name+1st initial of last name and their password is eagle2.  Grades K-1 is 1st name+1st initial of last name and their password is 1234.  This program is a very important component of the computer curriculumGrades k -2 are not required to hold their fingers in the homerow position; however, they should use their left hand for letters on the left side of the keyboard and right for those on the right.

I was just informed that an account code was needed to start the program at home.  Our Account Code is 100165.  You only need to enter it one time.  After that, each time you log on you will only need the ussername and password.

Notice to Kindergarten - Grade 2 Parents:

For those students in Grade K who are just starting the Computer Program, I would appreciate it if you do not put them on this program.  This will be part of their curriculum and it will be started later in the session.  I will start them over again come September.  The goal for Kindergarten through the beginning of Grade 2 is that they know where the letters are on the keyboard and that they use the correct hand for typing those letters.  If the letters or numbers are on the left side, they should use their left hand; and if numbers and letters on the right side, they should be using their right hand.

our children for standardized testing and support to the school curriculum.

Grades 2-8 login is their 1st initial + last name@ola all in lower case and no spaces (esmith@ola).

Their password is eagle+their grade. For a 2nd grader it would be eagle2. Change the number

according to the grade your child is in this year. Your child's grade level will not be changed

until some time in August. Before you start, you can click on lesson, and it will explain how to

do the exercise.
