Big 6 # 1 - Task - What am I suppose to do? - Create a presentation (Smartboard, PowerPoint, Podcast)which compares the Advent calendar and the Advent wreath. How are the Advent wreath and Advent calendar similar and how are they different? Your comparison should include a history of the Advent calendar and the Advent wreath. The presentation should conclude with you and your partner's opinion about what the Advent wreath and Advent calendar brings to our catholic faith.

Big6 # 2 - Information Seeking Strategies -What are the best sources to find information for my project? -Please use the websites that are provided to find information. You may also use the World Book encyclopedia, our reference databases, and Google.

Big6 # 3 - Locate and Access - Where can I find the sources?- Click on the links listed below.

Big6 # 4 - Use of Information-Now that I have found the information, how will I take notes? Don't forget you need record where you got your information to cite your sources - Read and take notes from the above listed websites. You may use Word or PowerPoint to record your notes.  You will use Noodletools to create a Worked Cited page.

 
Big6 # 5 - Synthesis - Put all your information together and start to create your presentation.

Big6 # 6 - Evaluation - When you have completed your project, you will receive an evaluation sheet. The evaluation sheet will have the following questions:
  • What did you learn from working on this webquest?
  • Did you do your best work on this presentation?
  • Did you work well with your partner?
  • Is there something you could do better on your next presentation?
  • What was your favorite part of this presentation?
